Supposedly it's in my blood but I think I missed the green thumb gene. My grandfather was a farmer who actually made a pretty small farm provide for his family and beyond. So once I had my own land I said I was going to have a garden. After about a week of removing (most of) the grass that once occupied my new garden I've finally gotten some plants in. The soil sucks so that all had to be replaced but here's hoping that everything will work out. Biggest project in the garden right now is grapes. I've heard they are a pain to start but once you get them going you're set, here's hoping. Problem is there might be a frost this week, Seriously a frost when it's almost June...
Here's what I'm attempting
Peas
Beans
Watermelon
Grapes
Blackberry
Strawberry
Tomatoes
Peppers
Corn
Cucumbers
Herb garden also
I spent 12 hours outside today, I'm burnt and hopeful.
